A Journey That Started in 2013
On April 28, 2013, I launched SmartnTechs, a project that would become one of the most significant milestones in my journey as a developer and technology enthusiast.
What makes SmartnTechs special to me is that it wasn’t my first website. In fact, it was my fourth attempt. The three websites I created before it failed to achieve the vision I had in mind. Those failures taught me valuable lessons about content, user experience, consistency, and the importance of creating something meaningful for readers.
Rather than giving up, I decided to build something bigger and better.
The Vision Behind SmartnTechs
From the beginning, SmartnTechs was created with a clear goal: to provide valuable, high-quality technology content for enthusiasts around the world. I wanted to create more than just another tech blog. My ambition was to build an online technology magazine that readers could trust for useful information, insights, and resources.
As someone who has always been passionate about technology, the website became a place where I could share that passion with others. Whether it was discussing new technologies, reviewing products, or explaining technical concepts, the focus was always on delivering quality content rather than simply publishing articles for volume.

From Tech News to Evergreen Content
During the early years, SmartnTechs focused heavily on technology news alongside tutorials, guides, and other informative articles. Covering news helped keep the website active and allowed readers to stay updated with the latest developments in the technology world.
Over time, however, I realized that evergreen content provided greater long-term value to readers. Instead of chasing every news update, the focus gradually shifted toward creating content that remains useful for months and years. This transition helped the website better serve its audience while maintaining a stronger emphasis on quality and relevance.
Growing as a Developer Along the Way
The journey of building SmartnTechs closely parallels my own growth as a software engineer.
Over the years, I have worked across multiple domains, including:
- Web development
- Mobile application development
- Software engineering projects
- Game development
Today, I continue exploring new technologies and am currently working on a mobile game project as well.
Many of the lessons learned from professional development work have been applied back into SmartnTechs, helping improve both the website and the experience it offers visitors.
Continuous Improvements in Performance and User Experience
One aspect of SmartnTechs that has never remained static is its design and performance.
Throughout its lifetime, I have repeatedly optimized the website to improve:
- Loading speed
- User interface design
- User experience
- Mobile responsiveness
- Content accessibility
- Overall performance
Technology and user expectations constantly evolve, and maintaining a website for more than a decade requires continuous refinement. Every redesign, optimization, and improvement has been driven by the goal of making the site faster, cleaner, and easier to use.
Recent Development: Device Comparison Platform
One of the most exciting recent additions to SmartnTechs is a custom-built device comparison system.
I developed a comparison plugin that allows users to compare up to five devices simultaneously within the same category. Currently, the system supports:
- Smartphones
- Smartwatches
- Tablets
- Laptops
- Desktops
In addition to comparisons, each device has its own dedicated specifications page containing detailed technical information.
At the moment, I am actively expanding the specifications database and adding more devices to make the platform increasingly useful for users researching and comparing technology products.
Looking Back After More Than a Decade
When I launched SmartnTechs in 2013, I couldn’t have predicted how long the journey would last or how much I would learn along the way.
What started as a fourth attempt after three failed websites became a long-term project that has survived changing technologies, evolving trends, and countless iterations. More importantly, it has allowed me to combine my passion for technology with my passion for building software.
SmartnTechs remains an ongoing project, continuously evolving with new features, better content, and improved user experiences. The journey is far from over, and I am excited to see where it goes next.
